Kai loves challenges and during the event he showcased his athletic abilities. He is preparing for his forthcoming stand-up paddle competition. Kai now has a competitive advantage on the usual training, because he climbed to 4164 meters.
Kai means "ocean" in Hawaiian, and that is precisely where he comes from. He was born on the island of Maui in 1992 and grew up closely to giant Jaws and Hookipa waves. Kai was only 4, when he was able to stand on his board. He was 6 when he took on windsurfing, at 7 he was stand-up paddling, and at 9 years old, he was kite surfing. He is only 22 and already a six-time world stand-up paddle champion, Kai Lenny surfs monstrous waves, demonstrating a brand of talent that is out of this world. He is the only person to have surfed in four different disciplines on the same day (tow-in surfing, SUP, windsurfing and kitesurfing). #DontCrackUnderPressure? Well, that is simply never an option when he is on the water
